Leryn Franco

Leryn Stenery (full name Leryn Dahiana Franco Stenery) was born on March 1, 1982, in Asunción, Paraguay. She tried a career in athletics and modeling simultaneously.

In 1998, she took part in triple jump and javelin throw competitions. After breaking a few national records as an under-17, Leryn Franco decided to concentrate on javelin throw. 1n 1999, she participated in the South American Junior Championships and won recognitions in all the three years till 2001. It included two bronze medals in 1999 and 2000.

In 2003, she participated in the Pan American Games. In 2004, Leryn Franco emerged as the winner in the national under-23 category. With the success so far, Leryn competed in 2004 Athens Olympics. But she did not get any satisfactory result. In the meantime, she kept up her modeling career. In 2006, she became the runner up at the Miss Paraguay Pageant. Leryn also participated in Miss Bikini Universe Pageant. In 2007, Leryn Franco released her own calendar with photographer Martin Crespo. She returned to javelin with the 2008 Beijing Olympics. This time her performance was more drastic. She has released a sizzling calendar in 2009.
