| Sara is more than just a one-trick pony. In addition to starring in television and film, she has recorded her first album, The Ups and Downs (2006). “I've been singing my whole life and I wanted to do singing and acting at the same time but acting just took off further than singing,” she explains. “Now I have my own album coming out so I'm really excited about that.” |

Sara Emily Paxton was born on April 25, 1988 in Los Angeles, California. A natural performer, she began appearing in television and print ads by the time she was 6.
Sara’s first of many big breaks came in 1997 when she appeared in Liar Liar, starring Jim Carrey. Although her role was relatively small, Sara was thrilled to work alongside one of Hollywood’s most successful actors. “He was so cool,” she recalls. “He was a really nice guy. I was only 8 and he would not remember me at all but he was so funny on set and he was just really nice.”
Jim Carrey was just the first of many A-list celebrities with whom Sarah would get to share the screen. In 1998 alone, she appeared in the Kurt Russell action flick Soldier and alongside Jude Law in the romantic comedy Music From Another Room.
The following year was just as successful for Sara: She appeared in the family film Durango Kids and guest starred in multiple episodes of the TV shows Working, Passions and Action. Over the next two years, Sara made many more appearances on hit programs like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Lizzie McGuire. |
