Why Is She Famous?
Jenny Lewis is one former child star who actually has her head screwed on right. "I learned a lot about working with other people," she says of her formative days spent on studio sound lots. "I'm probably the biggest ball-buster in the band as far as practice schedule goes and I think I learned that from working 10-hour days, supporting the family and stuff."
Jenny Lewis was born January 8, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The daughter of veteran lounge performers, Jenny made her own entr?e into showbiz in 1985 thanks to a guest starring role in an episode of The Twilight Zone.

Despite her success, Jenny eventually grew disenchanted with the industry. "Acting came more for practical and financial purposes, and that lost its charm eventually," she says.
