Cynthia Ann Stephanie "Cyndi" Lauper is an American Grammy Award-winning singer and Emmy Award-winning film, television and theatre actress. She became a household name in the mid-eighties with the release of the album, "She's So Unusual" and became the first artist in history to have four top ten singles released from one album. Cyndi has released 11 albums, over 40 singles, and has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. She continues to tour the world in support of human rights.
