Marta Cecchetto

Marta Cecchetto was born in Italy and she started modeling at the age of 16. Her career took off rather quickly and she became known throughout Italy for her slender physique and stunning red hair. Her appearance on runways and in print ads made her an enormously coveted model and it was not long before her modeling career transcended nations to make her an international superstar.

One of her most prominent international roles is with Aperol, which is an Italian alcoholic drink. As a spokesmodel for the company, she has appeared in an ad as a bartender who is dancing and partying on top of the bar as she serves up her seductive good looks to Aperol drinkers across the nation.

In 1998, she met a soccer player Luca Toni at a fashionable nightclub in Florence, Italy. At the time, Luca was an average player on the average Fiorenzuola Club soccer team. Their meeting was actually initiated at a nightclub when Marta slammed a door in his face. When she went back to apologize she agreed to have a drink with him and they have been together ever since. Since their first rendezvous, Luca has made his nation's soccer team and was a part of the 2006 World Cup Champion Italian squad. Marta often comments on how she "knew him when he was a loser." After eight years together, they finally decided to get married.

In 2006, Marta ranked as one of the top Italian models and she also appeared in another Aperol ad.
