| Not for her SAT score to be certain. With appearances in calendars, television commercials, magazines, and the occasional film, O'Neil is taking the work, whatever it is, before gravity sets in. To say she is famous is pushing it, but to her credit, she was in the movie Mystery Men. |

Linda O'Neil was born on an Air Force base outside of Sacramento, California. Her father served as a pilot in Vietnam where he met her mother, whom he brought back to the United States and later married. Linda was born three years later, the middle child of three girls.
The children experienced the typical childhood of a military brat, moving from one base to another and making new friends along the way. The change in scenery was always a welcomed development for the curious and adventurous Linda, who thrived despite the transience inherent in being the child of a serviceman.
The island of Guam was the most cherished home of all for Linda, who managed to overlook the occasional typhoon to enjoy the pristine beaches. It was during this time that she began to discover that she was a classic extrovert. Linda wanted to be a model for as long as she could remember. She recalls with pride teaching herself how to "sit pretty, with perfect posture" and "smile at boys" when she was thirteen.
A year later, Linda enrolled in a modeling school where she acquired the skills that would serve her well in the future. When she was fifteen, she posed for a professional shoot for the first time. Her desire to become a model consumed her when she attended high school, where, if she was not participating in soccer, track or volleyball, she was competing in gymnastics and dance, in addition to modeling, in order to enhance her training. |
