| A professional model since age 11, Korina has appeared on catwalks and magazine covers the world over. She made waves in the West in the spring of 2002 when she played Justin Timberlake's sultry love interest in the video for 'N Sync's single, "Gone." |

Korina Longin was born December 12, 1982, in the historical city of Zadar, Croatia. In an area famed for its clean beaches and ancient churches, Korina was renowned for her beauty, and a family friend suggested that she show her photos to modeling agencies. This advice proved well founded, and by age 11 Korina was known throughout the country as a runway model.
Soon thereafter, Korina made the transition from the catwalk to print modeling, and her career escalated quickly. In 1997, she appeared in a Dolce & Gabbana advertisement and a fall Guess? campaign done by celebrated fashion photographer Dah Len. Her name was rapidly making the rounds of the fashion business, and by the end of the year she had appeared in Elle Italy, Vogue France and Cosmopolitan USA, as well as runway shows for such designers as Prada and Blumarine.
By the time of her 18th birthday, Korina was truly an international model. Alongside a Victoria's Secret catalogue shoot, she added Elle France and Vogue Germany to her list of worldwide accolades, as well as further runway appearances for Chanel, Fendi, Kenzo, and John Galliano. In 2000, Korina made her television debut in a commercial for the Italian jeans company, Replay.
Korina's global success made her one of the world's 15 highest paid models. It also served to rank her among the more linguistically proficient ones, endowing her with fluency in Croatian, English and Spanish. In the spring of 2002, Korina broke into the Western mainstream pop culture market as she was handpicked by director Herb Ritts to play the love interest in the 'N Sync video for the single, "Gone." |
