On October 1st 1976, Inna Zobova was born in Khimky, a suburb of Moscow. Her mother was an engineer while her father worked in civil aviation. It was a traumatic childhood for Inna because she was born with a hole in her heart.
On top of that, she grew up in Siberia, a barren land where life was difficult. Her father was ill and her mother had to work long hours just to make ends meet, which made it difficult for Inna to have a stable upbringing.
When she was 6 years old, she underwent surgery to correct the defect in her heart. The surgery was successful, but playing sports remained a daunting task for her, as it made her breathless. Still, she nursed the dream of becoming a ballet dancer, one of the most prized professions of the old Soviet Union.
However, Mother Nature had something else in mind for Inna; she grew too tall and had to give up her dream. Since she loved animals, she decided that perhaps a career as a veterinarian would better suit her. |
