Ingrid Seynhaeve's rise to fame as one of the world's top models could be considered one of the biggest flukes in the history of the modeling industry. Rather than pursuing a career as a model, she was on her way towards something entirely different.
While growing up in a small Belgian town, Ingrid began to blossom into a very attractive girl. During her early teenage years, nature took its course and the story about the birds and the bees began making sense to her. She was noticing the guys around her and the lads were definitely taking an interest in her as well.
(Interlude 1) In steps Mamma Seynhaeve. In an effort to divert the attention away from her daughter's stunning features, she booked an appointment at the local chop shop and planned on giving poor Ingrid the latest version of the buzz cut. Not because she wanted her daughter to enlist in the military, but because she felt it was the best way to scare away all the sex-starved teenage boys who were creeping out of the woodwork.
