| Ever watch a little show called Baywatch? We thought so. Before that, Bonnie was a cheerleader for a number of sports teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, which landed her some modeling gigs. When a casting director spotted one of her layouts, he knew she'd be perfect for a role that kept her in her bathing suit. We agree. |

These days, a busy modeling and audition schedule keeps Bonnie-Jill Laflin from living it up as the true tomboy she is at heart. However, she still follows sports, including the competitions of her two racehorses -- Lil' Miss Hollywood and Dancin' Deputy.
Born on March 15, 1976, Bonnie-Jill Laflin owes her beauty to a German-Irish father and a mother of Apache Indian, Spanish and Hawaiian descent.
Starting off as a cheerleader with the Golden State Warriors at age 17, Bonnie has led the cheers for some of the country's top sports franchises, including the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Lakers.
But perhaps her biggest accomplishment was landing a spot as one of America's Sweethearts, a.k.a. cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys. That gig paid a measly $15 US per game, the lowest in the league. But as Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is quick to point out, with over 1,300 applicants for 13 spots, most women would pay to be a Dallas cheerleader.
It doesn't take much to break into modeling when you're as good-looking as Bonnie-Jill Laflin. Plus, when you have "cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys" on your resume, you know people will take a second look. In fact, the Hooters people took a second and third look. Bonnie entered a number of swimsuit pageants, but her big break came when she came in second in a Hooters pageant and made it into the company's calendar. |
