Jessica Miller

Though she's long since established herself as one of the hottest up-and-coming models around, Jessica Miller's adolescence certainly didn't contain any hints of her lucrative career. The daughter of a carpenter and a showgirl, Jessica grew up in Las Vegas where, even though her beauty was evident as a small child, she never gave a second thought to a possible future in modeling. In fact, Jessica's boredom with the glitzy Vegas lifestyle eventually resulted in a brief stint as a member of a girl gang (the teenagers would skip school and cause trouble, much to the chagrin of their parents). It wasn't until her mother insisted that she join a modeling school at the age of 15 that Jessica began actively pursuing a career within the industry, and the following year the young girl was discovered by a scout from the prestigious Next agency. Though Jessica was encouraged to move to New York, her first couple of years as a model proved to be disheartening. She did land the occasional gig, but she was generally only featured in foreign publications (steady work, to be sure, but not exactly the sort of stuff that'll raise a would-be model's profile).
