| The name of this Halifax-born, Miami-based superproducer’s production company says it all. The success of Scott Storch’s Tuff Jew Productions is due as much to his talent as to his willingness to take risks. When he gave up a plum gig with The Roots in the mid-‘90s, there was no guarantee that he’d succeed as a producer. Since that time, he has worked with acts that range from hip-hop legends like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg to celebrity icons like Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton, and he has become one of the most in-demand producers in music today. |

| After his rise to prominence as the keyboardist for one of hip-hop’s top live acts, The Roots, Storch went on to contribute the signature piano riff for Dre’s comeback single, “Still D.R.E.” He has since produced the likes of Snoop Dogg, Beyonce and 50 Cent, and he has crafted a signature approach by composing his own blazing keyboard tracks and beats as opposed to relying on samples. |

| Additionally known for productions like Terror Squad's "Lean Back,” 50 Cent's "Candy Shop” and Beyonce's “Naughty Girl,” Storch has become one of hip-hop’s most sought-after producer and writers. He was named ASCAP's Songwriter of the Year in 2004 and had three consecutive songs reach No. 1 in 2005. Still based in Miami, Storch balances life with his two sons, his on-again, off-again girlfriend Dae Daniel Esquire and his career. He worked on a Chris Brown project that is scheduled for 2007, and in 2006, he also worked with Ludacris, Ice Cube, Brooke Hogan, and pop tarts Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton. |
