| Since 2004, Roger Federer has been known as the most dominant men’s tennis player in the world. Federer has won nine Grand Slam tournaments in 30 appearances. He is also the only player to consecutively win three U.S. Open and Wimbledon titles in the same year. Only Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl have enjoyed longer uninterrupted streaks as the No. 1 ranked tennis player. Federer is already touted as the best player of all time, as he holds the record for most consecutive singles wins (55 games) in North America. He is also the only player to win the Wimbledon and U.S. Open singles titles in three consecutive years. |

A good sportsman and role model, Federer is a modest, respectful athlete who is very cordial after winning. During a match, he keeps his emotions in check, exuding a cool, calm and collected demeanor. He also provides press conferences and interviews in the three languages that he is fluent in: German, French and English -- and he dabbles in Spanish.
When he’s not relaxing or playing tennis he sets his sights on philanthropy. In December 2003, Roger co-established the Roger Federer Foundation. Based in Basel, Switzerland, the foundation aims to assist disadvantaged children -- primarily in South Africa -- and to promote sport for young people throughout the world. He also encouraged fellow tennis players to raise UNICEF funds for the people affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami; Roger even announced that he would participate in as many organized matches and auction off signed rackets to raise relief money. In 2006, Federer was deservedly named Goodwill Ambassador to UNICEF.
On a more entrepreneurial note, Federer launched his RF Cosmetics line in 2003, which includes cologne, aftershave, body wash, and deodorant. |

| There isn’t much that Federer has yet to accomplish in tennis, but he is still hungry. He has his sights set on being the first man since Ron Laver to win all four Grand Slam events in one year. Federer is already a fixture in the greatest-player-of-all-time conversation and if he continues at this pace, there won’t be much of a conversation left. |
