Justin Timberlake began his career as a Mouseketeer in 1993 at the age of 12. He rocketed to fame as a member of the boy-band *NSYNC, and is now a major player as a solo artist in the music industry. In 2002, Timberlake released his first solo effort, Justified. The album’s critical success won him two 2004 Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his hit single “Cry Me A River.” His most recent album FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006) made its debut at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in America, Canada, Australia, and the UK.
Timberlake’s musical success is matched by his celebrity on the newsstands, as he appeared on the cover of GQ in August 2006 and obtained a coveted Rolling Stone cover in September 2006. |

In 2005, Justin Timberlake moved toward the management side of music to open his own record company, JayTee Records. In October of the same year, he was recognized for his humanitarian efforts in his home state of Tennessee by the Grammy Association.
Outside of the music industry, Timberlake keeps heavy ties to other areas of entertainment. Always a fashionable celebrity, Timberlake worked with his best friend, Trace Ayala, to open the William Rast line of clothing. He, like other famous names, also secured business in the restaurant industry, opening the Asian-inspired Chi in 2003.
On a personal note, Timberlake’s love life remains stable with the beautiful Cameron Diaz by his side. |

| In 2007, Timberlake will star in Black Snake Moan alongside screen veterans Samuel L. Jackson and Christina Ricci. The controversial film covers the blues, sexual abuse and love. He will also lend his voice to the children’s market in Shrek the Third as the animated version of young King Arthur. Finally, to add to his busy schedule, Timberlake will be embarking on a large-venue tour for his 2006 FutureSex/LoveSounds album. |
