While Jude's good looks garnered him Sexiest Man Alive honors in 2004 and his talent has showered him with nominations and respect, Law is more than just a pretty face and a talented actor. His major philanthropic cause -- Music For Tomorrow (MFT) -- is helping to chart a new path for post-Katrina New Orleans and preserve the city's cultural heritage -- a classy move on Jude's part.

Jude recently hosted a special charity concert to benefit Music for Tomorrow in New Orleans at Tulane University. This gala event featured Douglas Brinkley, Patricia Clarkson, James Gandolfini, and Lieutenant Governor Mitch Landrieu.

Back Stage

Jude will wrap up 2006 on a high note with All The King's Men and Breaking and Entering. Law will also play a romantic lead in the comedy The Holiday alongside Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and perennial funnyman Jack Black.

In 2007, Jude will be a part of a large ensemble cast that includes Tim Roth, Rachel Weisz and Norah Jones in My Blueberry Nights. Law's also in the process of wrapping up Sleuth, a mystery in which he matches wits with another great leading man, Michael Caine.

Jude Law is known primarily for his good looks, his impeccable fashion sense and his talents as a thespian. Named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine in 2004, Law quickly became one of the box office's biggest male sexpots.

On the thespian front, Law has managed to pull in two Oscar nominations. His first nomination was for Best Supporting Actor for his stellar performance in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999). His second nomination came for Best Actor in a Leading Role for Cold Mountain in early 2004.
