Why He's No. 6

Jerry is typically involved with a myriad of productions on a year-to-year basis, including hit television shows such as Cold Case, Without a Trace, and all the CSIs -- the profits from which garnered him a spot as the 10th highest money-earner on the 2006 Forbes Celebrity 100 list. Because of his busy schedule, he is undoubtedly left with little time to explore any other pursuits.

That being said, Jerry does appear to have a philanthropic side to him and has publicly supported the fight against multiple sclerosis via his work with The Nancy Davis Foundation for MS. Jerry has additionally pledged to help various causes by establishing the Jerry Bruckheimer Foundation, though he has successfully managed to keep their accomplishments quiet.

Back Stage

Despite turning 61 in September, Jerry has shown no signs of slowing down. In addition to his TV work (he currently has an impressive eight shows on the air), Jerry has his hands full with upcoming films, such as the Denzel Washington thriller D?j? Vu, the next Pirates of the Caribbean installment and a football comedy with Dave Chappelle called Ballers.

Forcaste

As the producer behind such cinematic favorites as Top Gun (1986), Beverly Hills Cop (1984) and The Rock (1996), Jerry Bruckheimer has long since established himself as someone who knows exactly what audiences want to see -- and his five Emmy Awards prove it. After a run of flops in the early part of this decade -- like 2002's Bad Company and 2003's Kangaroo Jack -- Jerry has bounced back with a vengeance by lending his name to a long line of bona fide smashes, like 2004's National Treasure, 2000's Gone in Sixty Seconds and -- of course -- the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
