Joseph's original plan, before becoming a singer, was slightly different than his brothers. He first dreamed of becoming a comedian and wanted to audition for sketch comedy shows,but he was always attached to music and loved listening to different kinds of music, especially rock. In his spare time he enjoys jogging and working out. His favorite color is blue, and some of Joe's favorite foods are Chicken cutlet sandwiches with mayo, and Chocolate marshmallow ice cream. His favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber, and he enjoys the sport Wiffel Ball.

The middle Jonas Brother, singer Joe Jonas was born on August 15, 1989, in Casa Grande, AZ, and was raised in Wyckoff, NJ. His sense of humor and fondness for pulling pranks made him contemplate becoming a standup comedian before the Jonas Brothers became one of the most popular teen pop acts of the 2000s. With 2006's It's About Time and the following year's self-titled album, Joe and his brothers established themselves as a pop band comfortable with adding rock elements to their sound, which earned them a large fan base thanks to the heavy exposure they received on The Disney Channel; their August 2007 appearance on an episode of Hannah Montana drew a record 10.7 million viewers. The reality television show Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, which documented the band's life on the road, arrived in spring 2008, and that summer Joe appeared in the Disney Channel movie Camp Rock as Shane Gray, the lead singer of the band Connect Three, with his brothers playing the other two-thirds of the band. One of his solo songs from the movie, "Gotta Find You," charted around the same time that the the Jonas Brothers' third album, A Little Bit Longer, arrived; by that time, Joe and the rest of the group were already working on Camp Rock 2.Forcaste
Joe and his brothers, filmed a Disney Channel Original Movie called Camp Rock where they play a band called "Connect Three." Joe plays the lead male role and lead singer "Shane Gray"; Nick plays the role of "Nate," a guitarist; and Kevin plays the role of "Jason," also a guitarist. The film's soundtrack was released on June 17, 2008. The Disney Channel reality short series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, premiered on Disney Channel on May 16, 2008. The show, which ran until September 5, 2008, documented the brothers' lives on the Look Me In The Eyes Tour. The name was inspired by the band's hit song "When You Look Me in the Eyes".
