Sofia Vergara becomes famous each week on ABC's new sitcom Modern Family, as of her comic role, but she never intended to be a comic actress. She actually went to dental school.
On Tuesday night actress Sofia Vergara was seen on the Columbia Pictures premiere of '2012' at the Regal Cinemas in Los Angeles, California. She was looking very sexy in blue dress.

In the press release she said "I would love for her (Shakira) to do a little acting, I told them, 'Please can we get Sophia Loren as my mother?' I would love to meet her, I just think she's fantastic."
Sofia is a great friend of singer Shakira, as they were both born in Barranquilla, Colombia.
'2012,' starring John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Amanda Peet, Oliver Platt, Thandie Newton, Danny Glover and Woody Harrelson, opens in theaters on November 13.
