INDIA'S NICOLE FARIA WINS MISS EARTH 2010
India's Nicole Faria has been crowned Miss Earth Talent 2010 in Vietnam. The tenth edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant was held in Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang Vietnam on December 04, 2010. It was first time an Indian contestant has bagged the title in ten years. Nicole Faria, a 20-year-old girl from Bangalore, had won the title after beating 17 other contestants. She not only proved that beauty is combination of brains and elegance.
Nicole Faria, Bangalore based undergraduate model, answered brilliantly for the questions which bowled the judges. During the question-answer session, Nicole fared very well in all rounds, for a query on saving water or air first, she answered, "Both elements are important to us. But given the choice, I would save water from being polluted for the children."

Nicole Faria is an Indian model and beauty queen from Bangalore who was crowned Miss Earth 2010 on December 4, 2010. Faria is the first woman from India to win Miss Earth.
Faria represented India in the Miss Earth 2010 beauty pageant in Vietnam, and was crowned Miss Earth 2010. She won the Miss Talent, the first special award in the 10th Miss Earth pageant.She performed a graceful belly dance that combined Oriental and Middle Eastern style in an event that raised VND100 million, which was donated to the HCM City Red Cross, to support flood victims in the central region of Vietnam.She wore a shimmering white and gold outfit and defeated 17 other finalists.

Up to age 11, I was shy and an average kid. Then at age 12 I changed and became more confident and self assured. I made new friends and started expressing myself in an assertive manner.
