Biography

There must be something in the water in the Czech Republic. The country that brought us Eva Herzigova and Karolina Kurkova can now boast yet another supermodel in the form of 5'11" stunner Hana Soukupova. Born and raised in the luxurious spa city of Karlovy Vary, Hana's height and supernaturally long limbs made her stand out among her peers from an early age. In fact, years before she learned to strut down a catwalk she was routinely running up and down a basketball court dominating the competition.

Although Hana likely could have pursued her sport further she chose to enter the world of modeling, signing with a small agency in Prague at the age of 15. It proved to be a savvy decision as Hana has since become one of the world's busiest models. Over the past five years she has modeled clothing for a veritable "who's who" of fashion designers, including Gucci, Fendi, Versace, Christian Dior, Chanel, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Diane von Furstenberg, and Marc Jacobs. Hana's famous face has also been splashed across the covers of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Elle and she is the spokesmodel for Gucci's popular fragrance, Envy. Despite her considerable success, Hana is still somewhat uncomfortable about standing out.

Soukupová is represented by DNA Model Management in New York, Viva Models in Paris, and Why Not Models in Milan. Besides being a model, Soukupová likes to stay in shape by punishing the punching bag she has installed in her in her Brooklyn apartment. In her free time she indulges in her artistic side by attending pottery classes in Chelsea. She is married to Drew Aaron, a resident New Yorker and the President of The Aaron Group. Currently she resides in New York with her husband.
