HALLE BERRY WIN SHERRY LANSING LEADERSHIP AWARD

Cleveland native Halle Berry will receive the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at The Hollywood Reporter's 18th Annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast presented by Lifetime. The event, which will be Friday, Dec.4, at the Beverly Hills Hotel, is seized in combination with the Hollywood Reporter's 'Power 100: The event was launched in the early '90s to commonly honor women making inroads in male-dominated Hollywood Berry, whose performance in 'Monster's Ball' won her the Academy Award for best actress, joins past recipients Barbara Walters. The honor is in gratitude of the Bedford High School graduate's trailblazing within the industry and for her kindness in giving back to the society at large. The intricate role that Halle Berry plays in life as a successful, multitalented entertainment professional who is dedicated to furthering the well-being of others, particularly minorities, is as exciting as are her film roles, said Elizabeth Guider, editor in chief of The Hollywood Reporter. "The gratitude is also superbly fitting in a year in which assortment has been embraced and rewarded at the highest levels of our government and society." She did many films like 'Jungle Fever', 'Die Another Day', 'Gothika', 'Catwoman' and three 'X-Men' movies as Storm.
