DREW BARRYMORE: I WON'T CHANGE FOR LOVE

Actress Drew Barrymore says she never imagines herself to impress any guy and that she wants her man to accept her the way she is. She had mentioned that she will never change for a man.

The actress, who turned director with 'Whip It' - who is rumored to be engaged to actor Justin Long - says she could never pretend to be someone she's not and needs a man to accept her for who she really is.

She told Britain's OK! Magazine: "On the first date, don't not be yourself. Don't sell them what you are not really about - it's exhausting. I'm never not myself. This is who I am. What you see is what you get. I learnt that lesson when I was 13 - my entire life was out there and I didn't have a choice. I thought, let me just ride with this wave,"

The Charlie's Angels star said: "It's the best time of my life - it's not traumatic at all. I don't think I have ever been happier. It is like the older I get, the better I get. Gravity and wrinkles are fine with me. They are a small price to pay for the new wisdom inside my head and my heart.

"If my breasts fall down to the floor and everything starts to sag and becomes hideous and gross, I won't worry. I'll just stop appearing in front of the camera. That's fine with me because I love producing and directing."

Biography

Drew Barrymore was born on February 22, 1975, in Culver City, California. Being from a family that produced legendary actors John, Lionel, and Ethel Barrymore, it's no wonder Drew quickly found her way to the spotlight. When she was barely 11 months old, she made her first television commercial for Puppy Choice dog food. Other TV spots soon followed for Pillsbury chocolate-chip cookies and Rice Krispies cereal. But it was clear she was destined for greater things. She made her first movie at the age of two when she appeared as a boy in the made-for-television film Suddenly, Love (1978). Another TV movie followed with Bogie (1980), in which she played Leslie Bogart. That same year, at the age of five, she moved to the big screen and played William Hurt's daughter in the philosophical science-fiction film Altered States. Two years later, she was cast as Gertie in the Steven Spielberg blockbuster E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982). In 1995, she and partner Nancy Juvonen formed the production company Flower Films, with its first production the 1999 Barrymore film Never Been Kissed. Flower Films has gone on to produce the Barrymore vehicle films Charlie's Angels, 50 First Dates, and Music and Lyrics, as well as the cult film Donnie Darko.  Barrymore's more recent projects include He's Just Not That into You, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, and Everybody's Fine. A recipient of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Barrymore appeared on the cover of the 2007 People magazine's 100 Most Beautiful issue.
