Dating Couple 25-year-old Canadian singer Avril Lavigne and the actor Wilmer Valderrama enjoyed a romantic night out at Nobu in West Hollywood on October 29 just weeks after she filed for divorce from Deryck Whibley last month.
After three years of marriage life Avril and singer Deryck split in September. They filed for divorce citing 'irreconcilable differences' but insisted their break-up was amicable. She wrote on her blog: "Deryck and I have been together for six-and-a-half years. We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21. I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship."
"They have been friends since working together on Fast Food Nation in 2005, but things heated up last month. One of their first dates was October 29 at Nobu in West Hollywood. They took things public last Saturday. She had her hand on his knee and they were whispering in each other's ear, laughing," quoted a source as saying.
