Biography

Ashley Tisdale is best known for playing Sharpay Evans in the Disney Channel original movie "High School Musical" and Madeline Fitzpatrick the candy counter clerk at the The Tipton hotel, on Disney Channel's "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody." Ashley Tisdale also stars as Candace Flynn, meddling older sister to Phineas and Ferb in the Emmy-nominated animated series, "Phineas and Ferb," on Disney XD and Disney Channel.



Ashley Tisdale's other television credits include series regular roles in "Nathan's Choice" and "The Howie Mandel Pilot." Ashley Tisdale had recurring roles on "George Lopez," "Still Standing" and "The Hughleys" and guest starred on "Grounded for Life," "Strong Medicine," "Boston Public" and "7th Heaven."



Ashley Tisdale was named one of Teen People magazine's "25 Hottest Stars Under 25" and released an album entitled "Headstrong" on February 6, 2007. Ashley Tisdale is the only female artist to debut with two songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100.



Born in Monmouth, New Jersey, Ashley Tisdale was discovered at the age of three in her hometown mall by talent manager Bill Perlman who continues to represent her today. After landing a job off her very first audition, Ashley Tisdale went on to star in more than 100 national network commercials. At the age of eight Ashley Tisdale booked the leading role in the Broadway musical "Les Miserables." Ashley Tisdale then toured internationally with the production of "Annie."



When Ashley Tisdale isn't in school or pursuing her acting career her passions include singing (she sang at the White House at the age of 12 and sings in an episode of "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody"), hanging out with her friends and shopping.



Born July 2, 1985, Ashley Tisdale resides in Los Angeles with her sister Jennifer, also an actress, and her parents Mike and Lisa.
