Out of nowhere news reports regarding Anna Nicole Smith have resurfaced in the form of court documents that were released Tuesday. Their contents provided more details of what happened leading up to her death, but the basic premise of her passing has been well known for years. The issue should have slipped away when Howard K Stern, and doctors Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich were charged with conspiring to "commit the crimes of prescribing, administering and dispensing controlled substances to an addict" and "unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance." And yet, here they come again. It's as if the story wasn't covered enough when it happened, so it has to poke its head through its hole to remind us every so often. We need to remember Anna Nicole Smith in silence. Then she would be able to rest in peace. With the recent influx of celebrity deaths, the unearthing of a "golden oldie" is odd at best. Unfortunately, these days not a day goes by without us losing someone important. The public had already come to terms with Smith's dead. Why pick at the wounds?
