ADELE COMINGUP WITH SECOND ALBUM WILL FLOP

Grammy award winning singer Adele had recently retuen to UK for working on her second album, although she had admited she is not feeling rushed.
This summer she was in a tour. The British soul explosion carries on regardless. Amy Winehouse may have sparked the trend, but with the 'Rehab' singer currently sidelined a few bright new talents have moved in on her area of expertise.
Welsh star Duffy scored a series of hits last year, with her 'Rockferry' album being one of the year's best sellers. However over in the United States however, all the talk is of another British singer -Adele.
Speaking to BBC 6Music Adele claimed that she is working on her eagerly awaited new album, but told fans that she won't be rushed into a quick follow up.
''"I'm not being rushed, because you're only as good as your next record. If you get rushed, you can lose that little niche that you've created for yourself, whereas if you take your time then you'll end up delivering.''
''Obviously I'm a bit scared that there's new avenues that I want to go down with the sound, but I don't want to leave behind my lovely fans who might not like the new sound. So I'm a bit wary of that.''
Adele was quick to praise the United States, but told fans she was glad to be back in the UK. Asked about her new album, the singer claimed that 80s jazz-pop singer Sade could influence her forthcoming material.
''I'm more interested in having a body of work rather than a mish-mash of sounds. I think my first album was a bit of pop, a bit of R-B, a bit of jazz, a bit of wannabe rock and a bit of indie folk. I've been listening to a lot of Sade at the moment. I bought all these amazing iconic albums and I'm trying to work out why they have a sound. I've been listening to a lot of Back to Black too. I want an Adele sound.''
Recently she is living with her mother when asked she revealed: ''I bought my own place and moved all my things in but I couldn't get used to not having my mum there.''

ADELE

“I’ve got no problem explaining what my lyrics are about. I really like poetry: I’m not very good at reading it, but I love writing it. Singers like Jill Scott and Karen Dalton are amazing; proper poets.”
