With a lot of roles for woman to juggle in today’s busy, high-pressure lifestyle, there is certainly very little time for her to enjoy herself.

With the tension, worries, anxiety and age, the skin becomes less active, leaving dry, brittle, susceptible to wrinkles, lines near the eyes and mouth and losing young color and splendor.

Loss of sebaceous glands is not enough to release the oils to moisturize and protect skin, dry skin. Environmental causes such as dry air, strong winds, hormonal imbalances, the use of aggressive chemicals, cosmetics or bath soaps too hard saps moisture from the skin making it dryer, flakier and chapped during the winter.

The cure for dry skin

- Clean and moisturize: Dry skin should be cleaned with cold cream and skin deodorants without alcohol to remove the cream. After cleansing, the skin needs a lubricating emollient or a moisturizer when your face is wet after washing.

- Splash your face with cold water or gently wipe the skin with rose water to tone the skin nicely.

- Avoid the use of highly alkaline soaps and detergents such as washing powders and drinks.

- Avoid the sun, strong winds and hot baths. Use oil-based creams and make-up products. Use soft towels or a wash cloth to avoid skin irritation and dried.

- Smoking deprives skin of oxygen and nutrients it needs for good health, making the skin dry and rough.

- Cracked or broken skin - increasing water consumption. Maintain chapped areas well lubricated and protected from the weather with a good moisturizer or nourishing.

- Use creamy, mild, pH balanced moisture such products based gel cream, lotion, etc. for the treatment of dry skin.

A well balanced diet of vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds and nuts provides the body with all the vitamins and minerals necessary for healthy skin. Drinking water and reduce exposure to solar minimum is also beneficial. Garlic, onions, eggs and asparagus help keep skin smooth and youthful. Carrots, apricots, rich in vitamins A, C to maintain the skin elastic. Increase your intake of foods like raw green leafy vegetables, dairy products like yogurt, milk. Reduce fried foods, soft drinks, sugar, chocolate, junk food, alcohol, caffeine and other foods that have made diuretic causing the body and skin to lose fluids, vitamins and essential minerals.
