Mimi Rogers, birth name Miriam Spickler was born on 27 January 1956 in Coral Gables, Florida, USA. Her father was civil engineer. Mimi graduated from high school at the age fourteen. She enjoys reading and playing tennis.
Mimi worked in a number of smaller productions before she made her professional acting debut in 1981. Mimi played a recurring role in "Hill Street Blues". Then she appeared on hit television shows like Quincy M.E., Magnum, P.I. and Hart to Hart. In 1987, she played role in "Someone to Watch Over Me" that got her noticed and was her springboard to stardom. Mimi played role in "Hider in the House" (1989), "Desperate Hours" (1990) and "The Doors" (1991).

In 1998, Mimi acted in the big-screen remake of the '60s sci-fi TV series Lost in Space.

She played leading roles in Charms for the Easy Life (2002), Cave In (2003) and The Door in the Floor (2004).
