"You can't really prepare yourself for being greeted by a dozen Klingons drinking blood wine. So, it can be a bit off-putting coming in from the outside. But it's great fun and there are no fans like Star Trek fans."

| Birthplace: Munich, Germany |

| Following a string of mediocre TV movies (remember Coed Call Girl?), Jeri became one of the most searched-for celebrities on the Internet thanks to her role as the Borg Seven of Nine on Star Trek: Voyager in the second half of the '90s. She landed an even larger audience with her role as sexy teacher Ronnie Cook on Fox's Boston Public. |

| As men who are into babes and beer, there are certain TV shows that we figured we'd never get into. Star Trek: Voyager and Boston Public are both near the top of the list: high school drama and intergalactic dilemmas just don't hold quite the same intrigue that a good shootout or car chase does. |

Jeri Lynn Zimmerman was born on February 22, 1968 in Munich, Germany to parents Sharon and Jeri Zimmerman. Jeri and her brother lived the childhoods of typical army brats, moving from base to base throughout the country before finally settling down in Paduch, Kentucky.
By this time, Jeri was already 11 years old, her father had retired and her mother had decided to pursue a career in social work. Unwittingly, Jeri had already been started on her own career track: the family's frequent moves to this date had taught her how to become somewhat of an actress without even making an effort as she was constantly changing schools and forced to make new friends.
Jeri took the stage for the first time in the fourth grade, starring in Market House Theater productions of Gracie at the Bat, Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
In 1986, Jeri graduated at the top of her class from Lone Oak High School. Fittingly enough, she was voted most talented by all of her classmates. Jeri went on to attend Northwestern University and earn a degree in theater.
In 1989, while studying at Northwestern, Jeri won the sixth annual Miss Northwestern Alpha Delta Phi Pageant. That same year, she won the Miss Illinois Pageant and went on to come in fourth in the 1990 Miss America Pageant. |
