Jennifer Morrison
“I really do see the good in people, and I don't want to change that. That's really how I view things, so sometimes I'll look past a lot of huge red flags because I see something else in someone. Then, of course, it always comes back to haunt me in the long run.”
- Jennifer Morrison, on hooking up with the wrong guys.

What makes her so famous?
After appearing in a host of forgettable films, Jennifer broke out in a big way after landing the career-making role of Dr. Allison Cameron on the hit FOX show House.
Why we adore her..., as we do?
Whether she’s trading barbs with Hugh Laurie’s acerbic Dr. House or holding her own opposite stars like Angelina Jolie, Ben Affleck and Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Morrison is undoubtedly on her way toward superstardom.
Biography
Jennifer Morrison was born on April 12, 1979, in Chicago, Illinois. Raised in nearby Arlington Heights, Jennifer got an early start in the world of show business thanks to her time working as a child model. She appeared primarily in tame advertisements for companies such as Kohl’s, JC Penney and Montgomery Ward, though a minor scandal erupted in her hometown after she modeled in a bathing suit while only in the seventh grade. Jennifer eventually moved on to television commercials and received her first taste of nationwide fame following an appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated for Kids alongside Michael Jordan.

By the time she was in her teens, Jennifer began auditioning for various productions in and around Illinois. Her tenacity paid off in 1994 when she was cast in the drama Intersection, in which she played the daughter of characters played by no less than Richard Gere and Sharon Stone. She followed that up with a small but key role in the 1994 remake of Miracle on 34th Street, though that was her final onscreen appearance for several years.

Determined to complete her education and perfect her craft, Jennifer enrolled in Loyola University’s theater program where she managed to complete a four-year program in just three. She segued immediately into a stint at Chicago’s prestigious Steppenwolf Theatre Company, which counts among its alumni such notable names as Gary Sinise, John Malkovich and Joan Allen. Confident in her abilities, Jennifer immersed herself once more into the world of auditioning and quickly landed a role opposite Kevin Bacon in the 1999 thriller Stir of Echoes.

A year later, Jennifer took on the central role of Amy Mayfield in Urban Legends: Final Cut, a horror sequel notable for a cast comprised almost entirely of up-and-comers such as Jacinda Barrett and Eva Mendes. She followed that up with bit parts in obscure movies, including 2001’s The Zeros, and long-since-forgotten television shows like Touched by an Angel and Any Day Now. Jennifer’s profile received a slight boost in 2001after she was cast as Joshua Jackson’s girlfriend on Dawson’s Creek, though she only managed to stick around for two episodes.

Jennifer spent the next several years appearing in one film after another, including 2003’s Grind (opposite Adam Brody), 2004’s Ben Affleck comedy Surviving Christmas, and the 2005 Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie thriller Mr. & Mrs. Smith. In fact, Jennifer popped up in a whopping 11 films between 2002 and 2006.

In 2004, Jennifer successfully auditioned for a role on a new FOX drama revolving around a crotchety doctor and his staff of quirky yet brilliant physicians. The show, of course, turned out to be the smash-hit House, and Jennifer soon found herself experiencing a level of fame that was entirely new to her.

Jennifer also appeared in several music videos, including Nick Lachey’s “Shut Up” and The Donnas' “Too Bad About Your Girl.” She even stepped in the role of producer for the first time with a 2006 independent film called Flourish, in which she stars opposite fellow House cast mate Jesse Spencer. In addition to her continuing work on House, Jennifer can also be seen in the 2007 Rob Schneider prison comedy, Big Stan.
